About
A free Friday late evening at Wolverhampton Art Gallery celebrating the city's Black history and heritage through live music, spoken word, photography, walks and workshops.
This free evening event celebrates Wolverhampton's Black history and heritage through sport, music, art, photography and community stories. Highlights include a live showcase on the legacy of the 3C Warriors, the city's first Black basketball team, plus Exodus Sound System, the Black Arts Movement, Chris Steele-Perkins' Wolverhampton photographs and Black Heritage Walks. The night also marks the Gallery's first permanent space dedicated to Black art, and poet Antzz hosts Harmony & Hope in the GLAZE cafe, a spoken word, music and live performance event.
