Kinusaiga (Japanese Fabric Art) Workshop: Festive Christmas Collection

A relaxed 18+ workshop at St George's, Folkestone, learning Kinusaiga, the Japanese no-sew fabric collage craft, by making a festive 15cm artwork.

Studio Infinara hosts a hands-on Kinusaiga workshop in which participants tuck pre-cut fabric scraps into a foam base to create a 3D textured picture, with no sewing involved and a fully reversible, mistake-friendly process. Attendees aged 18 and over choose one of eight festive designs from the Christmas Collection — including a robin, gnome, gingerbread house and reindeer — and are guided step-by-step by a local artist with over a decade of teaching experience. The session runs 2 hours 45 minutes and each participant leaves with a finished 15cm x 15cm festive piece.
