About

A guided tour of the Grade II* listed Hornsey Town Hall exploring its history, architecture and restored spaces.

This hour-long visit explores Hornsey Town Hall, the Grade II* listed modernist building opened in 1935 as the centre for the Borough of Hornsey. Participants visit the Assembly Hall, Committee Room, Chamber and Mayor's Parlour, and learn about the materials used and the design vision for the Hall, including architect Reginald Uren's Town Hall Square flanked by electricity and gas showrooms. The building has recently been renovated as part of a private sector development.
