American violinist and songwriter Chris Murphy performs an afternoon set of original folk, blues, bluegrass, Irish and gypsy music at Anteros Arts Foundation.

Chris Murphy, an acclaimed American violinist, composer, songwriter and bandleader from Los Angeles, gives a seated afternoon performance in the Music Room at Anteros Arts Foundation. Drawing on more than 30 years of performing and composing, his music blends jazz, blues, rock, country, classical and world influences. Raised near New York City in an Irish-Italian family, he grew up with traditional Italian, Latin and Irish music before exploring Turkish and Indian traditions and studying composition at the New England Conservatory of Music. The event runs 3pm to 5.30pm; the room is on the upper floor and accessible only by staircase.
