Playclub

Playclub brings together Cornwall's actors and playwrights to read and develop scripts, from new writing to existing pieces, in a friendly two-hour session.

Playclub is a participatory script-reading session where Cornwall's actors bring scripts to life, from brand-new writing to existing pieces, while playwrights hear their words performed aloud to aid their development. Attendees can choose to read, or simply listen and be part of the community, with an optional post-session pub trip. Sessions last approximately two hours and pre-booking is essential as spaces are limited.
