Hall for Cornwall Backstage Heritage Tours 2026/27
About
A guided backstage and heritage tour of Hall for Cornwall exploring dressing rooms, the trap room, orchestra pit and stage, with an optional Cornish cream tea add-on.
Hall for Cornwall opens its backstage spaces to the public on a Heritage and Backstage Tour lasting around 90 minutes. Visitors see the dressing rooms, trap room and orchestra pit, can stand centre stage, and hear the building's history as a former fire engine house, police station and roller-skating rink, along with stories of how the theatre runs day to day. An optional Backstage Tour & Cream Tea Package adds a Cornish cream tea in the Green Room Café afterwards. The tour involves steps and walkways on different levels, and adapted tours can be arranged for accessibility needs.
