A one-day joint winter conference for the RCPsych West Midlands and Trent divisions covering psychiatry topics, breakout sessions and a poster competition.
The Royal College of Psychiatrists' West Midlands and Trent divisions hold a joint one-day winter conference at Edgbaston Park Hotel, running 9.25am to 4.30pm. The programme includes talks on OCD, GLP-1 drugs and psychiatry, medico-legal and capacity assessments, and writing psychiatric court reports, alongside breakout sessions on formulation, supporting new consultants and working with IMGs. The day also features a poster competition with prizes for quality improvement, audit and research, with an abstract entry deadline of 25 October 2026. Attendees can earn 1 CPD point per hour, subject to peer group approval.
