RCPsych Wales Faculty of Old Age Psychiatry Conference

A one-day in-person conference for old age psychiatry professionals in Wales covering dementia therapeutics, capacity, workforce and more.

The RCPsych Wales Faculty of Old Age Psychiatry holds its annual conference at Wrexham Medical Institute, running 9:30am to 4:00pm and worth 5 CPD points. Sessions cover workforce and recruitment, novel therapeutics in dementia and biomarkers, alcohol and capacity assessments, the new Pathway and Competence Framework for Dementia Care in Wales, and neurological perspectives for old age psychiatrists. A trainee poster competition runs alongside the programme, and a pre-conference dinner takes place at the Ramada Plaza Hotel on 28 October. Attendance is in-person only, with no recording or livestream.
