Royal Opera | Carmen

A cinema screening of the Royal Opera's production of Bizet's Carmen, running three hours 35 minutes.

Damiano Michieletto's Royal Opera production of Bizet's Carmen is screened at Rheged over two dates. The opera follows the fiercely independent Carmen, played by Ginger Costa-Jackson, and the obsessive Don José, sung by Russell Thomas, in a drama of lust, violence and destructive desire. Sesto Quatrini conducts Bizet's score. The screening runs three hours and 35 minutes.
