About
Leeds-based indie folk artist Aaron Brooks performs songs from his upcoming 'Live EP' with his band at Hyde Park Book Club.
Aaron Brooks, a Leeds-based alternative/indie folk artist, plays an evening of songs from his upcoming 'Live EP' alongside other material, performed with his band's delicately layered textures. His music blends abstract, evocative lyricism with gentle but rhythmic fingerpicking and emotive vocals. The 'Live EP' uses partly improvised band parts and fully live recording to give the songs a sense of immediacy.
