Urban Explorers: Ouseburn
About
A guided walking tour of the Ouseburn Valley exploring its regeneration from industrial backwater to vibrant urban village, led by architect Tim Bailey.
This two-hour walking tour, organised by the Farrell Centre as part of its Urban Explorers programme, examines how the Ouseburn Valley has been transformed over the past four decades through arts-led regeneration and careful integration of new and older housing. Led by Tim Bailey, an architect whose practice xsite architecture has been based in the Ouseburn since 2006, the tour visits the area on foot and shares the stories behind its development. The group meets at Ouseburn Farm and attendees should be prepared for all weather conditions.
