Matinees of Murders and Mysteries presents… The Scottish Detective, David Swindle

Former murder detective David Swindle discusses his career and takes audience questions in an unscripted true-crime conversation.

Former senior investigating officer David Swindle, who has more than 34 years' policing experience and led Operation Anagram into serial killer Peter Tobin, hosts an afternoon conversation about murder investigation. Rather than a scripted interview, the audience is put in the interviewer's chair, asking questions about what happens behind the scenes of murder inquiries, how detectives detect lies, and why some cases remain unsolved. Swindle draws on his work on hundreds of murder investigations, cold case reviews and the crimes of Britain's most notorious killers.
