Textile artist Maxine Smith leads a one-day creative workshop teaching participants to combine needle felting with hand embroidery to make a unique framed piece of textile art depicting beach huts. The session suits both first-time felters and those with experience, and all materials are provided, including a frame for the finished piece. Tea, coffee and biscuits are supplied; attendees bring their own lunch. The workshop runs five and a half hours.
