A 1½-hour beginner-friendly pottery wheel throwing class at The Salted Kiln studio, running across several dates in December 2026.
The Salted Kiln offers a 1½-hour wheel throwing taster class in its air-conditioned studio, with each participant working on their own pottery wheel. An instructor provides step-by-step guidance on centring clay and shaping bowls, cups or small vases, with all clay, tools and aprons supplied. Classes are capped at 10 participants, and finished pieces can be fired and glazed for £14.50 or recycled.
