Silver Clay Jewellery Taster Workshop

A hands-on three-hour class where participants make a pure silver pendant or earrings from silver clay, firing and polishing their piece to take home.

This workshop teaches participants to create a pendant or pair of earrings from silver clay, a material of 99.9% pure silver mixed with a clay binder that can be moulded and textured. Over approximately three hours, attendees work through five stages: making a design from 5g of silver clay, drying, sanding, firing with a chefs torch, and polishing. The finished pure silver piece, complete with a stainless steel chain, is taken home on the day. No experience is necessary and the class is suitable for ages 16 and over.
