Elf Traps + Shunya

Elf Traps, a project by Rob Turner and Liviu Gheorghe, performs with Shunya, blending spiritual jazz, live electronica, and futuristic Irish folk.

Elf Traps fuses spiritual jazz with glitch, jungle, and live electronica. The project combines live drums and synths with drum machines, samplers, and custom robotic percussion, moving between meditative ambient passages and explosive rhythmic peaks. Shunya (Alan Keary) is a multi-instrumentalist who performs using violin, bass, and vocals, blending futuristic Irish folk, jazz-tronica, and electronic sound.
