About

Archaeologist Andy Crabb gives a talk using ten objects to tell the story of Dartmoor over the last 140,000 years.

Archaeologist Andy Crabb, who has worked on Dartmoor for over 20 years for Dartmoor National Park Authority and Historic England, presents a talk for the Exeter Local History Society. He discusses ten objects — artefacts, fossils, tools and landscapes — that tell the story of Dartmoor across the last 140,000 years, and brings a few artefacts for attendees to handle. The event runs for two hours at the Leonardo Hotel in Exeter.
