Weave a Willow Christmas Tree

Willow artist and craft tutor Judith Needham leads a hands-on workshop weaving a roughly 50 cm Christmas tree set in a log, with a woven star and supplied fairy lights and decorations.

Participants weave a roughly 50 cm willow Christmas tree mounted in a log, then make a star for its top and add fairy lights, baubles and presents. Materials, including battery fairy lights, are supplied; participants may bring small decorations or wrapping-paper scraps. Judith Needham leads the session, which the organiser says suits beginners and people with previous willow experience.
