About
Comedian, poet and folk musician John Hegley brings his Edinburgh Fringe show of stories, poetry, mandolin and silliness inspired by John Keats and biscuits.
John Hegley's touring show, first seen at the Edinburgh Fringe, weaves together the tale of John Keats meeting a woman in Ireland with Hegley's own home-life, travels and fourth-form disco memories. The hour-and-a-half performance (with interval) includes mandolin playing, myths, moths and possibly a little French baroque dancing. Devised for adults but suitable for ages 9+, it is only partly biscuit-based.
