About
A living history celebration of Robert Burns at Stirling Castle with costumed characters, music, storytelling and an Address to a Haggis.
Inspired by Robert Burns' 1787 visit, this living history day fills Stirling Castle with characters from the bard's life and times, including Poosie Nansie and Burns himself performing Tam o' Shanter. Visitors can enjoy songs and music, join in dancing, explore period fashions and hear stories of his friendships, love letters and revolutionary ideas. The day runs from 11.30am to 3.30pm and closes with the traditional Address to a Haggis, with activities suitable for all ages.
