AUB Theatre Productions performs Robert Icke and Duncan Macmillan's stage version of George Orwell's 1984, described as the first dramatisation of the novel's appendix in any medium. Set in Oceania, the play follows Winston Smith, a Party worker who begins a secret diary and falls in love with Julia as he resists a totalitarian regime under Big Brother.
