The University Church Choir leads a Nine Lessons and Carols service for the Fourth Sunday of Advent.
A service of Nine Lessons and Carols held on the Fourth Sunday of Advent, sung by the University Church Choir. The page situates it within the tradition of Choral Evensong according to the Book of Common Prayer, a form of service devised by Archbishop Thomas Cranmer drawing on Christian Scripture and the ancient monastic offices of Vespers and Compline. Attendees are asked to sit in the Chancel to participate in the service.
