Mendelssohn's Octet

Members of Royal Northern Sinfonia perform Mozart, Bruch and Mendelssohn chamber works including Mendelssohn's String Octet at Stokesley Methodist Church.

Players from Royal Northern Sinfonia visit Stokesley Methodist Church as part of Teesside Music Society's 26/27 season. The programme pairs two Mozart works — the Flute Quartet in D major K.285 and the Oboe Quartet in F major K.370 — with Bruch's String Octet in B-flat major, before closing with Mendelssohn's thrilling String Octet in E-flat major. The concert presents four chamber works in an intimate setting, described as full of energy, colour and connection.
