The Strokez

A live tribute show to The Strokes at The Fire Station, with support from South Shields indie rockers Camel Island.

The Strokez perform a live celebration of The Strokes, playing note-perfect renditions of songs including Last Nite, Someday, Reptilia and Hard to Explain. The set draws from across the catalogue with a focus on the earlier albums Is This It, Room on Fire and First Impressions of Earth, plus material from The New Abnormal. Support comes from Camel Island, a South Shields indie rock band with punk rock hooks who have received BBC Introducing support. Doors open at 19:00 and under 14s must be accompanied by an adult.
