People’s Emergency Briefing + discussion with Douglas Alexander
About
A screening of the 50-minute climate and nature film is followed by a local discussion with Douglas Alexander, hosted by Scottish Seabird Centre and Sustaining North Berwick.
At Scottish Seabird Centre on 7 November 2026, the film presents evidence from nine UK scientists and experts about extreme weather, food security, health and living costs. Based on the National Emergency Briefing in Westminster, it includes on-screen appearances by Chris Packham and Deborah Meaden. After the film, an open community discussion with Douglas Alexander, billed as MP for Lothian East, considers local action. Tickets for this North Berwick programme are free, limited and require advance booking. The named film contributors are not advertised as live guests.
