Dragonfly Sensory Disco
About
A sensory disco at The Phoenix Theatre with music, bubbles, disco lighting and chillout zones, hosted by Elizabeth Blake and Will Hughes.
The Phoenix Theatre is transformed into a sensory disco inspired by the work of PMLD specialists Frozen Light, drawing on the venue's Disability Arts experience. Dance practitioner Elizabeth Blake (Music & Movement) and Will Hughes (Drumming) host the session, with a DJ playing favourites by ABBA, Elvis and from Grease. The space features bubbles, disco lighting and other sensory experiences, plus separate acoustic and chillout zones with bean bags, sensory props and instruments. Squash and water are provided free, and the Club Bar is open for drinks.
