Ephemera + Guests

Ephemera headline a night of experimental jazz, ambient and electronic music at Ram Jam Records with support from The Blue Hokum Boys, Dead Man's Switch and Phoebe Massey.

Ephemera, Rebecca Wing's project blending ethereal jazz improvisation with granular and tape-emulated looping, headlines the night with a four-piece band on sax, keys, drums and bass. Support comes from pre-war blues and hokum duo The Blue Hokum Boys, young blues-jazz-soul trio Dead Man's Switch, and experimental electronic performer Phoebe Massey, who layers voice, synthesiser and field recordings. The evening runs 8pm to 10:30pm at the speakeasy venue behind The Grey Horse pub in Kingston.
