About
Scots Singer of the Year Beth Malcolm performs her autobiographical album FOLKMOSIS live as a story at Universal Hall, Findhorn.
Beth Malcolm, Scots Singer of the Year in 2022 and 2024, performs her 2024 album FOLKMOSIS live. The album is an autobiographical collection of self-penned and traditional songs set in scene by spoken word, tracing her journey from Perth and Angus through her teenage years to a return to the Scottish music of her childhood. Performed live as a story, the show reflects her interest in gigging 'folk stories', and she is currently writing a third album incorporating oral histories.
