Prolapse

Leicester post-punk band Prolapse play a rare live date at The Rum Shack on their short UK tour.

Prolapse, formed in Leicester in the early 1990s, are known for their chaotic live shows and tense, repetitious songs such as Flex and Tina This Is Matthew Stone. The band features duelling vocalists Mick Derrick and Linda Steelyard performing over a triple-guitar assault and pummelling rhythm section. Having reformed in 2015 after a long hiatus, they occasionally play live dates, and this short UK tour offers a rare chance to see their live show.
