Ilford Repair Cafe

A volunteer-run repair cafe fixing electricals, sewing, computers and more, with an energy-saving advice cafe alongside.

Transition Town Ilford hosts a repair cafe at Lab Central on the ground floor of Redbridge Central Library, running on alternate Saturdays. Volunteers help visitors with electrical and sewing repairs, computers (by prior contact), jewellery, zips and general mending, while a pink bin collects electrical items for recycling. An Energy Café runs at the same time offering tips and support on reducing energy use and saving money and carbon.
