Curator's Talk: Milein Cosman
About
Born in Germany, Milein Cosman (1921–2017) and the Viennese-born musician, writer and musicologist Hans Keller (1919–1985) both fled Nazi persecution before settling in Hampstead, where they became central figures in Britain's post-war cultural life. Living just a short walk from Burgh House, they welcomed generations of artists and musicians into their home, creating an extraordinary creative community whose influence continues to be felt today Join curator Amy Miller for a lunchtime talk and the opportunity to discover Hampstead through Cosman’s eyes — and to learn more about some of the notable residents who have shaped its story.
