Wilmslow Historical Society hosts an illustrated talk by Judy Popley, local historian and plant fair organiser, on Maurice Egerton (1874–1958), Tatton's last great baron. The talk covers his many facets, including his inventive and technical skill and his pioneering work in aviation and filmmaking. Doors open at 7.15pm for an 8.00pm start, and visitors are welcome.
