Repton at Tatton and Beyond, Tatton Garden Society Lecture

Tatton's Head Gardener Simon Tetlow gives a lecture on Humphry Repton's 1791 landscape plan for the Tatton estate.

Tatton Park's Head Gardener Simon Tetlow explores the work of landscape designer Humphry Repton, who was commissioned in 1791 to produce one of his famous Red Books for the Tatton estate. Repton's visionary plan shaped the landscape, and many of his ideas were implemented and survive in the grounds visitors enjoy today. The hour-long talk takes place in the Tenants Hall.
