Headstocks Cinema hosts a special Halloween screening of Robert Eggers' Nosferatu (2024) in the 17th-century Little Castle at Bolsover Castle, described by English Heritage as its most haunted site. The gothic vampire tale of obsession between a haunted young woman and an ancient Transylvanian vampire is shown in dark, cold surroundings, with guests advised to bring a torch and wrap up warm. The screening lasts around three hours with a scheduled break, and all ticket proceeds are donated to English Heritage. Access is limited, as the venue is reached up two flights of historic stairs.
