About
A candlelit screening of the 1922 silent horror Nosferatu with a live pianist performing Hans Erdmann's original score.
Silent Screen Scotland presents a candlelit screening of Nosferatu, the 1922 German adaptation of Bram Stoker's Dracula, projected onto a 13-foot screen at the Institut français d'Écosse on Edinburgh's Royal Mile. A live pianist performs Hans Erdmann's original score for the abridged, roughly one-hour version of the film. The event is suitable for ages 10 and over, with children required to have their own ticket and be accompanied by a paying adult.
