OFF GRID – Where the Birds AR

A free hands-on workshop for young people painting birds in Chinese ink and watercolour and animating them with the Where the Birds AR app.

This session of the OFF GRID workshop series for young people is led by resident artist Albert Chung and combines colouring, Chinese ink wash painting and augmented reality. Participants paint their own bird inspired by migratory birds and contemporary ink painting, then animate it using the Where the Birds AR app. The two-hour session also includes a short guided meditation and meditative ink wash activity, with no experience needed.
