Hands on History

A free monthly history group at Denby Dale Community Library for anyone researching people, places or objects, with discussions and project help.

The Hands on History group meets on the third Thursday of each month (except December) at the library. Sessions cover local history themes, new and ongoing group projects, and informal presentations, with members sharing knowledge and research methods. Attendees can get help with family genealogy or local history projects, including working past research dead ends. Refreshments are available from the community cafe.
