The Might of the Longbow: Agincourt Anniversary

A free Agincourt-anniversary demonstration shows the draw and force of the medieval longbow as Robin Hood’s Merry Men put their archery skills to the test.

The longbow demonstration explores how the medieval war bow was drawn and why skilled archers were formidable in battle. It takes place outdoors at Outlaw’s Retreat, the den-build area at the far end of Events Green. The published hours are 11:00–15:00 on 24 and 25 October 2026; places are first come, first served.
