Shanty Bants

A free pub singalong session of shanties, sea and drinking songs, open to all singers to bring and share a song.

An open singing session at The Prince Albert in Stroud, inviting raucous singers to share shanties, sea-fairing and drinking songs. Participants are encouraged to bring a song to contribute, with twists and turns welcome — from traditional shanties to she shanties and queer shanties, and from traditional to radical material. The session runs from 8pm to 10.15pm and is free to attend.
