Honor Oak Shanty Choir

A friendly drop-in shanty choir meeting on alternating Mondays to learn sea shanties and folk songs, run by Frankie Heartless.

The Honor Oak Shanty Choir meets in the Choir Vestry at St Saviour's Church, Brockley Rise, on alternating Mondays from 7pm to 9pm to learn a range of sea shanties and folk music. No singing experience or shanty knowledge is needed, as the music is learned together, and people can drop in for single sessions without commitment. Sessions cost £10 (£8 concession) to help cover church hire and music preparation, with a 'Sponsor' ticket option for extra support. The venue has step-free access, accessible toilets and accessible parking, and under-16s must be accompanied by an adult.
