Poetry Word Play

A free family workshop at Saatchi Gallery where children create collaged poems through blackout poetry, painting on text and cut-out wordplay.

Poetry Word Play is one of Saatchi Gallery's Saturday Family Days workshops accompanying the BEYOND THE STREETS exhibition. Led by the gallery's Learning team, children play with words to make their own collaged poems, trying blackout poetry, painting on text, cut-out poetry and rearranging words in unexpected ways. The session is suitable for children of all ages, and no ticket to the exhibition is required, though visitors can book to see BEYOND THE STREETS the same day.
