Special lighting gives the museum’s animal dioramas a day–night cycle for autumn half-term.

Explore the animal dioramas through specially designed lighting that creates a day–night cycle. The displays highlight animals active by day and night, from British hedgehogs and badgers to the Asian tiger. Open Wednesday to Sunday, 23 October–1 November, 11:00–16:00; activities are included in standard museum admission.
