About
A charity brass band concert in aid of York Against Cancer, featuring the Hammonds Band and the Shepherd Group Brass Band, compered by David Hoyle.
York Brass Against Cancer returns to the Grand Opera House for its fourth instalment, a charity brass band concert. The programme features the Hammonds Band, founded in 1855 by Sir Titus Salt, alongside York's own Shepherd Group Brass Band, with the show compered by BBC's David Hoyle. All proceeds go to York Against Cancer, which supports people affected by cancer in the local area.
