It’s Nice Up North

A 20th-anniversary screening of Graham Fellows' comedy documentary It's Nice Up North, followed by a Q&A with Fellows.

A 20th-anniversary tour screening of It's Nice Up North, the 2006 comedy documentary starring Graham Fellows' alter ego John Shuttleworth, shot by the late photographer Martin Parr. The film follows Shuttleworth's gently absurd journey through the Shetland Islands testing whether people get nicer the further north you go, featuring tour guide Elma Johnson and music from Shetland folk ensemble Fiddlers' Bid. The screening runs around two hours including an interval, and is followed by a Q&A in which Fellows discusses the film and his working relationship with Martin Parr.
