Slugs (1988)

A health official's warnings about deadly mutant slugs ravaging a small town are dismissed until the death toll mounts and a British expert arrives to investigate.

This 1988 creature horror from Spanish director Juan Piquer Simón follows health worker Mike Brady, whose theory that monstrous slugs are behind a series of gruesome deaths is ridiculed by the authorities. As the body count climbs and a slug specialist from England starts digging into the mystery, it becomes clear Mike may have been right all along. Michael Garfield and Kim Terry lead the cast in this slimy slice of 1980s B-movie horror.
