Hedgelaying Training Course with Clive Leeke

A free one-day hedgelaying training course teaching practical skills on a mixed native hedge at Boundary Brook Nature Reserve.

Clive Leeke leads a hands-on hedgelaying course at Boundary Brook Nature Reserve, running from 9.30am to 4.30pm. Participants learn the art of hedgelaying, its cultural and ecological history, and the diversity of styles across the UK, while practising practical skills on a mixed native hedge as vital conservation work on the reserve. Booking is required by email so organisers can plan for numbers, and non-members are asked to join the Oxford Urban Wildlife Group to attend.
