Work Party at Aston Upthorpe Downs

A volunteer conservation work party at Aston Upthorpe Downs doing scrub clearing and coppicing, with tools and training provided.

Butterfly Conservation's Upper Thames branch is holding a practical conservation work party at Aston Upthorpe Downs in Oxfordshire. The planned tasks are scrub clearing and coppicing, with tools and training provided on the day. Volunteers should bring a drink and a snack and dress for the weather, and new volunteers are welcome even if they can only attend for part of the session. Attendees should contact the task leader in advance, as outdoor events can be cancelled at short notice in winter.
