Chamber Music at Merton

Soloists of the Oxford Philharmonic Orchestra are joined by pianist Mark Viner for a chamber concert in the TS Eliot Theatre at Merton College. The programme pairs Britten's String Quartet No. 1 in D major, Op. 25 and Prokofiev's Five Mélodies, Op. 35 — both written while the composers were exiled in America — with Reynaldo Hahn's Piano Quintet in F sharp minor. The concert runs for 120 minutes from 3pm.
