Talking to Boys
About
A world-premiere play by Abbi Greenland at the Royal Exchange's Studio, following one woman through fourteen conversations with the men in her life.
Talking to Boys is a world premiere play written by Abbi Greenland, co-founder of RashDash, and directed by Sam Pritchard. It traces one woman's mind across fourteen fragmented, funny conversations with the men in her life, from the school yard to the empty nest, asking whether it is possible to avoid being shaped by men. Shortlisted for the 2025 Bruntwood Prize for Playwriting, the production runs in the Studio with previews from 8 April and matinée and evening performances through to 8 May 2027. Audio described and captioned performances are available, and age guidance is 16+.
