About
The Martinů Quartet performs Ravel, Martinů and Dvořák string quartets at the Queen's Hall as part of their 50th anniversary UK tour.
Celebrating 50 years since its inception, the Czech Martinů Quartet makes a rare Edinburgh appearance on its anniversary UK tour. The programme opens with Ravel's string quartet, widely considered his first masterpiece, followed by Martinů's second quartet with its unique tonal colours, and concludes with Dvořák's uplifting A flat major quartet. The concert begins at 7.30pm.
